Mit dem vWii Compat Title Installer kannst du bequem den Open Homebrew Channel in den Wii-Modus der Wii U installieren.
Kopiere den Download einfach in "SD://wiiu/apps/" und führe den Installer über Aroma aus. Bestätige die Installation mit "A" und beende dann mit "HOME". Anschließend kannst du ihn wieder löschen.
Was kommt danach?
Das sprengt etwas den Rahmen, daher hier nur ein paar Links; die Anleitungen findest du dort:
- WiiWare 4:3 DB Patcher ausführen (optional, aber empfohlen)
- Installation des IOS236
- Installation der d2x-cIOS
- USB Loader GX oder WiiFlow herunterladen (die Festplatte muss hinten in den oberen Steckplatz!)
- IOS80 patchen für Custom-Kanäle auf der SD (optional)

Thanks but I deliberately did not update it past v1.6 since it got heavily bloated with v2.0+ and just does waaaay too much with too high risk. For everything it wants to do there are way better and more tested tools that run from the Wii menu and for unbricking there is already vWii Decaffeinator. It also reeks heavily AI-generated (looking at the AGENTS.md it probably is) which itself is not a problem but this is a very well-known system tool and now it gets features that were probably not tested much that further modify the NAND.
I can assure you, it was extensivly tested to do exactly what it is supposed to. It does a perfect restoration / install just like ES would do. v1.6 didn’t set the stock permissions (which is fine I guess, since it still worked) and it also had a bug, where it didn’t cleanup the content directory correctly, if it already existed.
For the patches it produces idendical output to what the standalone patcher did plus the option to undo these patches without redownloading anything.

Speaking of vWii Decaffinator: it is deprecated (archived on github) and has several issues noted in release note, that left people with a unusable (bricked) vWii. I found a few posts on reddit about it and was able to reproduce it.
So yes, I am confident, that it is as good or better, than the tools it replaces.
But also it’s fine if you want to wait, since this is primairly aimed at people who don’t want to use a PC and they will get it from the HBAS anyway.

Hey, wollte den Compat-Installer jetzt über Aroma nutzen, aber wenn ich dann A drücke um die Installation zu beginnen bekomme ich den Fehlercode 200002 🙁 weiß jemand woran das liegen könnte?
bekomme den selben fehler, hat jemand eine lösung dafür?
