Mit dem Wii U Recovery Menu lassen sich u.a. Bricks reparieren, die durch den unsachgemäßen Umgang mit Coldboot Haxchi entstanden sind. Muss über UDPIH gebootet werden!
Eine neue Option "Load BOOT1 Payload" wurde hinzugefügt, welche eine "boot1.img" vom Root der SD-Karte lädt. Wenn die Datei "boot1now.img" heißt, wird diese fünf Sekunden nach dem Start des Recovery Menus automatisch ausgeführt. Damit lässt sich bspw. minute booten.
Die Installation eines WUP muss nun bestätigt werden und der Installationsfortschritt wird dabei angezeigt. Die Option "Load Network Configuration" wurde der Bequemlichkeit halber über "Start wupserver" verschoben. Des Weiteren bietet das Recovery Menu nun Feedback über die LED, sowohl für Button-Aktionen als auch für Fehlermeldungen.
