Neben seinen SZS-Tools hat Wiimm auch seine mächtigen ISO-Tools aktualisiert.

Die Option "–dsync" wurde hinzugefügt, welche den Flag "O_DSYNC" beim Öffnen einer Partition einer Festplatte aktiviert. Ist dieser aktiv, ist das Schreiben eines Images etwas langsamer, aber der Fortschrittszähler wieder genau.

- New option: --dsync: The option enables the usage of flag O_DSYNC when opening a partition at a hard drive. With activated flag, writing an image is some percent slower, but the progress counters are exact again.

Wiimms SZS Tools haben eine neue Farbverwaltung und eine neue Option bekommen, außerdem wurde die Objekt-Datenbank aktualisiert.

Bei Wiimms ISO Tools wurden einige Texte bearbeitet und die Titel-Datenbank aktualisiert. Bei beiden Tools wurde Cygwin auf die aktuellste Version aktualisiert.

- New color management.

- New wstrt options --vs=ch & --bt=ch: Replace the second letter of versus/battle identification ('vs','bt') to a new character.
- Windows only: Cygwin update to v1.7.34-6 2015-02-04.

Wiimms SZS Tools
 - Two more modes for option --https:
    - SAKE0: Same as DOMAIN, but don't replace URLs with SAKE domain.
    - SAKE1: Same as SAKE0, but replace HTTPS of SAKE domains.

 - New option: wstrt --wiimmfi: Patch the files for the new custom server.
   It is a short cut for '{--https=domain --domain=wiimmfi.de}'.

 - New patching options to support the new custom server:
   - Option --http: Replace 'https' request to 'http' in the files 'main.dol'
     and 'rel/StaticR.rel'.
   - Option --domain=dom: Replace 'nintendowifi.net' by the new domain.
   - Option --wiimmfi: Patch the images for the new custom server. It is a
     short cut for: --http --domain=wiimmfi.de

Witgui, der Wii  & Gamecube Spiele-Manager für OS X wurde aktualisiert! Es werden FAT und WBFS unterstützt. Alternativ kannst du noch NTFS-3G nachinstallieren, um auf NTFS-Platten zuzugreifen!

Wii-Spiele werden im Finder nun auch als solche angezeigt. Die Konvertierung nach .wia ist nun auch möglich. Beim Übertragen der Spiele können überflüssige Partitionen des Spiels gelöscht werden (z.B. die UPDATE-Partition). WBFS-Partitionen können nun überprüft und repariert werden, Spiele können auch gecheckt werden. Außerdem werden jetzt nur noch OS X Versionen ab Lion (10.7) unterstützt! Es wurden dann noch weitere Bugs gefixt.

The size of the icons in the Icon view can be customized, the dialog for transfers to WBFS partitions can be hidden, /disk can be used instead of /rdisk to access WBFS partitions, flat covers can be used instead of 3D covers (in the Preferences panel).

FIXED BUGS
Games can be dragged from the Icon view to the Finder. Games on WBFS partitions can be correctly verified.

Corrected the QuickLook plugin bug that caused some files to get the wrong game cover as a thumbnail (to reset the thumbnail of the files inside the directory “myDirectory”, run “rm myDirectory/._*” in a Terminal window). The table columns are sortable again.

New QuickLook plugin to preview and display thumbnails in the Finder of .wbfs, .wia, .wdf, .ciso and .iso files (the last ones have to be set to be opened with Witgui, otherwise the standard thumbnail/preview will be used). New icon display mode along the already known list mode. Conversion to .wia is now supported. Added option to keep only the DATA and CHANNEL partitions when transferring a game (this can save some space). wit and wwt are searched in the order in the following directories: first in /usr/local/bin, then in the custom path, if any (can be set by selecting “File > Locate wit/wwt” while pressing the OPT/ALT key) and finally in the Application Support folder (where they are downloaded after selecting “File > Download wit/wwt”. The “Terminal tricks” for gaining access to WBFS partitions can now automatically be done after downloading wwt. Added menu items to check/repair WBFS partitions and verify games.

FIXED BUGS
WBFS partitions are now correctly detected. Fixed bug that caused unnecessary directories to be created when renaming/converting a game and a game detail contained a “/”. Fixed a bug where a conversion’s progress bar stopped just before reaching the end.

UPDATES
WBFS partitions can be safely ejected from the File menu.

Hauptsächlich wurde das DOLPATCH-Kommando erweitert.

 - Command "wit DOLPATCH" accepts now more commands and is able to create new
   TEXT and DATA sections.
   -> Read http://wit.wiimm.de/cmd/wit/dolpatch for details.

 - New option: --tt-id=ID: This is a short cut for '--ticket=ID --tmd=ID'.
   If TICKET and TMD differ, the game will freeze after loading. So it make
   sense to change only TICKET and TMD IDs together.

 - Bug fix, if using "wit COPY --name discname" and the destination is %X or
   similar: The new discname is now used to create the filename.

Wiimm hat schon Anfang Mai angekündigt, dass WIT&WWT eingestellt wird und es nur noch Bugfixes geben wird – doch er scheint sich selbst nicht daran halten zu können. Im Release v2.21a r4489 wurde ein neues nützlicher Kommando für Riivolution hinzugefügt – geht einfach mal den Changelog durch! Natürlich wurde auch noch viel mehr getan!

- Bug fix: wit DOLPATCH: Reading 'offset' failed on 32 bit systems.

 - The default image format switched from WDF to WBFS. This is only relevant,
   if no image type is specified by source, option or file extension, for
   example for the command "wwt EXTRACT".

 - wit DUMP --long: If dumping a DOL file, a third table with delta values
   between the virtual address and the file offset is printed.

 - New command: wit DOLPATCH: Patch a DOL file by reading a Riivolution XML
   file and scanning all memory tags.

 - If extracting an image, the file 'setup.txt' contains now a new parameter:
   "image-type = TYPE". It shows the image type of the source image.
   If cretaing an image and file 'setup.txt' contains this paramater with a
   valid image type, this image type is used as default for the new created
   image. The default is superseded by format options and file extensions.
     This feature is dedicated to patching scripts. If an original image is
   extracted with "wit extract -1n ANYID6 . WORKDIR --psel data" and then
   patched, an image with identical image type as the original can be created
   by the command: wit copy WORKDIR %x --id NEWID6 --name "new title of game"

 - For easier script/batch support, the files "setup.sh" and "setup.bat" are
   created for extracted images. They contain similar info as "setup.txt", but
   can be directly included by ". ./PATH/setup.sh" or  "CALL PATH\setup.bat"
   to get the settings as script variables.

 - Cygwin (Windows) DDLs updated.

 - Title data base updated.

Wiimms ISO Tools v2.20a r4399 – Letzte Version

Ein weiteres Wii-Tool, dass eingestellt wird: Wiimm aktualisierte heute seine ISO-Tools "WIT & WWT" zum letzten mal – nach 4 Jahren Entwicklungszeit ist jetzt leider schluss. Es werden nur noch Bugs gefixt.

Im letzten Release wurde die Windows Version "cygwin" aktualisiert. Außerdem wurde die Title Datenbank aktualisieert. Das Kommando "wwt NEW" ist jetzt ein Shortcut für "wwt ADD –update –newer".

 - After 4 years development this version should be the last release of the WIT-Tools until further notice; with exception of bug fix releases. I will discontinue adding new features. That's the reason for the little version jump to v2.20a.

Auch hat Wiimm seine ISO-Tools aktualisiert. Auch wurde ein kritischer Fehler beseitigt: Es wurde unter bestimmten Umständen nicht abgebrochen hat, falls die Platte voll war.

 - Mac+Linux+Unix: Script 'install.sh' will call itself with 'sudo' if not
   started by user 'root'. Read INSTALL.txt for details.

 - Windows: Cygwin updated.

 - Bug fix: If writing an image failed ('disc full' for example), the tools
   didn't aborted and, if option --remove was set, deleted the source image.
   This bug arrived with the implementation of preallocation, because of a
   lost error status.

- Bug fix: "wit EDIT" failed on WBFS files since v2.10a (Write privileges
not longer needed for WBFS files).

- New command: wwt SCRUB: Scrubs an image and free unused WBFS blocks. It can
be combined with --psel= to clear unwanted image partitions. This command
may help to repair wrong WBFS block maps.

- New wfuse option: --allow-other (-O): This option is a short cut for
'-o allow_other'. It enables re-exporting of the mounted file system for
example by a samba server.
