Zopenko hat den GB-, GBC- und GBA-Emulator "Visual Boy Advance GX" für die Wii modifiziert.
UPDATE: Ein kleines Update. Der "Löschen" Button sorgt nun nicht mehr dafür, dass der Emulator verglitcht und unter den Hardware-Optionen kann jetzt GBA und Super Gameboy 2 gewählt werden.
Diese Version basiert auf der aktuellen, offiziellen Version von Tantric und auf libertyernies 2.3.2 Mod, unterstützt also den Wii U Pro-Controller und hat eine Screenshot-Anzeige. Falls ihr ein deja-vú habt: Geht mir genauso, bei den ganzen Mods verliert man langsam den Überblick. Falls ihr also schon mal von solchen Änderungen gelesen habt, überlest sie einfach 😉 .
Es kann jetzt zwischen dem monochromen und grünen Gameboy-Bildschirm gewählt werden, dies findet ihr in den Einstellungen unter Emulation -> GB Screen Palette. Der GUI-Sound wurde entfernt, um die FPS zu verbessern und es kann jetzt zwischen Screenshots, Covers und Artworks gewechselt werden (Einstellungen -> Menü -> Preview Image). Das Bild muss dabei jeweils im PNG-Format mit dem ROM-Namen als Dateinamen im entsprechenden Ordner liegen (/screenshots, /covers, /artworks). Dieser kann auch angepasst werden. "Wii ausschalten" schaltet die Wii nun komplett aus und ignoriert dabei die WiiConnect24-Einstellungen (ein Rückschritt, für RiiConnect24-Nutzer), ferner wurde eine "Speicherdaten löschen" Funktion integriert, die sowohl SRAM, als auch Screenshots (Savestates) löscht.
Zu guter Letzt wurden noch ein paar Bugs gefixt, wie z.B. ein nicht funktionierender Knopf in den Einstellungen oder dass die Einstellungen nicht gespeichert wurden.
