Durch eine aktualisierte Version der libarchive-Bibliothek schlägt das Entpacken von 7z-Dateien nicht mehr zufällig fehl.

Die Anwendung wurde komplett überarbeitet und ist jetzt noch einfacher zu bedienen. Skripte wurden komplett entfernt und alle Anwendungen sind direkt in der "Universal-DB" enthalten. Ebenso wurde das Suchen und Filtern verbessert; so achtet die Suche nicht mehr auf Groß- und Kleinschreibung und Filter lassen sich einfach festlegen.
Wenn beim Update einer älteren Version die Meldung erscheint, dass der UniStore invalide ist, muss unter "Settings" -> "Select UniStore" das Update-Icon beim UniStore und anschließend "A" auf dem Store gedrückt werden.

Diese Version behebt einige Bugs und löscht deshalb die Config-Datei beim Start, also am besten alles wichtige notieren. Auch wird nur noch ein Update für Homebrews aus dem gleichen UniStore angezeigt. Der FTP-Support ist auch entfernt wurden – nutzt dafür am besten ftpd.
What got fixed? * Fix Config causing a return to the Home Menu / Homebrew Launcher. (On first start of v2.5.1, the config get wiped! So make sure to note all your current Config stuff.) What got added? * Add %3DSX%, %NDS% and %ARCHIVE_DEFAULT%. With that, updated scripts can now declare %3DSX%/Universal-Updater.3dsx for example and it will use the 3DSX path from the config file instead! * Add "Special Thanks" page on the credits. What got changed? * Make download Speed Display disabled on default, cause it can potential cause crashes. If you really want to have it enabled, change SHOW_SPEED to true in the config. No support for those crashes will be given though. * Don't display "update available" for apps that haven't been installed from that UniStore. * Remove FTP, cause FTP is not the focus of Universal-Updater. Use FTPD for it instead.

Neben einem Splashscreen fügt diese Version einen Script-Ersteller, sowie die zweite Version des "UniStores" hinzu, in dem u.a. gesucht und sortiert werden kann. Die "Universal DB" ist mit an Board und der Download-Fortschritt ist jetzt sichtbar.
Eventuell machen einige Archive Probleme, da die benutzte libarchive Version mittlerweile sieben Jahre alt ist.
What got added? * Display splash screen on first startup! * Initial Script-Creator! (You can now create scripts within Universal-Updater, but it could possibly have issues, so feel free to report them, if you found any. The Script-Creator is mostly english only for this release.) * UniStore v2! (This is an improved UniStore version, which contains 2 Layouts (Grid and List), searching for specific entries, sorting and more! Only Universal DB does support it right now and backwards compatibility stays, so UniStore v1 can be used as well!) * Universal DB got added! Die Extrahierung und Installation von CIAs wurde beschleunigt und beide Operationen zeigen nun eine Fortschrittsleiste an. Der "GodMode" und "deleteTitle" wurden aufgrund ihrer Gefährlichkeit entfernt und "updateSelf" wurde als optionaler Boolean hinzugefügt, der u.a. Probleme mit dem TWLMenu++ behebt. Auch stürzt die Anwendung nicht mehr ab, wenn die Dateiliste neu geladen wird.

Ein Dropdown-Menü wurde hinzugefügt, in dem sich Skripte und UniStores löschen lassen. Auch können diese mit "START" autogebootet werden. Neu sind auch einige Skript-Funktionen, wie verschieben, kopieren und Titel löschen, so wie ein Glossar mit hilfreichen Erklärungen zu den Icons, welches mit "Steuerkreuz links" bzw. "rechts" geöffnet werden kann.

Ein Button ist jetzt in der Suchfunktion verfügbar, mit dem TinyDB einfach hinzugefügt werden kann. Außerdem wird bei jedem Aufrufen eines "Shops" gefragt, ob dieser aktualisiert werden soll.

Neu in dieser Version sind UniStores. Dabei handelt es sich um Custom-Repositorys, die Skripte hosten. Eine solche ist beispielsweise TinyDB, welches aber nicht integriert ist und die Anbindung leider etwas verkompliziert:
Ihr müsst unter "UniStore" -> "Storesuche" -> "GitHub" im oberen Feld SuperSaiyajinStackZ/UniStore und im unteren TinyDB.unistore eingeben und auf "OK" klicken. Schon steht TinyDB als "Store" zur Verfügung.

Das Universal-Team hat den "Universal-Updater" in v2.1.0 veröffentlicht. Damit lassen sich 3DS-Homebrews einfach installieren und aktualisieren.

Viele von euch kennen vermutlich schon den MultiUpdater – der Universal-Updater funktioniert ähnlich, ist aber dennoch deutlich einfacher zu bedienen, da keine eigene Config erstellt werden muss. Es können Skripte heruntergeladen werden, mit denen bspw. Luma3DS oder NTR per Knopfdruck aktualisiert werden können, auch auf Nightly-Versionen. Das Highlight ist aber die TinyDB-Implementierung, der Quasi-Nachfolger von TitleDB bei dem schon etliche 3DS-Homebrews gelistet sind!
Wer noch nicht überzeugt ist, findet auch ein Video auf YouTube.
In Zukunft lassen sich auch selbst Skripte innerhalb der Homebrew erstellen und einreichen.

KunoichiZ hat den Luma3DS Updater aktualisiert.
Unterstützung für TLS v1.2 wurde hinzugefügt – damit funktioniert die Homebrew wieder, nachdem GitHub Ende Februar alte TLS-Versionen entfernt hat.

LiquidFenrir hat den MultiUpdater für den 3DS aktualisiert.
Die Optionen "delete_cias" und "delete_archives" funktionieren nun und der Autoupdater wurde repariert, kann aber problemlos von der v4.0 updaten.
