SFTP und FTPS werden unterstützt, auch werden für RetroArch-ROMs Icons angezeigt. Ein "Homebrew Store" zum Herunterladen, Installieren und Aktualisieren von empfohlenen Anwendungen wurde hinzugefügt und Updates und DLCs lassen sich von XCIs als NSP dumpen.

Goldleaf v0.3

Diese Version unterstützt die offizielle Software-Tastatur und ermöglicht das Erstellen von neuen leeren Dateien und Ordnern mit L und R im Dateibrowser. Die PRODINFO-Partition kann durchsucht werden und die keys.dat wird nun aus dem Ordner "SD://switch/" gelesen. Außerdem wurden zahlreiche Fehler behoben, und installierte Titel lassen sich als NSP dumpen.

Ein Account-Manager zum Löschen und Umbenennen von Accounts so wie zum Ersetzen des User-Icons ist auch mit an Board – letzteres empfehlen wir aber nicht, da es zu einem Bann kommen wird. Wer die NSP installiert kann außerdem auch den internen Web-Browser der Switch aufrufen!

* Now it's checked that the base folders inside "sd:/goldleaf" are created before entering certain menus.
* File browsers won't refresh the current directory's contents after copying a file as it was pointless and caused delay.
* This version of Goldleaf supports libnx v2.0.0, which fixed a few bugs with USB, and also added native keyboard support.

* Now no cert files are required to install a ticket, not even with NSP installs or USB installs. Goldleaf contains the public cert directly.

Probleme mit Speicherstand-Backups wurden behoben, die allgemeine Stabilität verbessert und der Speicherverbrauch um ~30% reduziert. Auch wurden ein Hex-Viewer und ein NSP-Dumper hinzugefügt. Letzterer kann installierte Spiele als NSP dumpen – ist das Spiel allerdings größer als 4 Gigabyte, kann es nicht auf FAT32-Partitionen gesichert werden.

Das Löschen von NSPs nach der Installation funktioniert wieder und einige andere Dateisystem-Operationen wurden behoben. Des Weiteren lassen sich jetzt Speicherstände sichern, auch auf einem FTP-Server und einer angeschlossenen USB-Festplatte (nur SX OS). Der Touchscreen funktioniert nun auch überall und Bilder der Spiele lassen sich vorabladen – wer die alte Version verwendet hat, sollte die Verzeichnisse "/switch/sx/cache" und "/switch/sx/icons" löschen.

TitleDB wurde entfernt, da der Betrieb eingestellt wurde. Außerdem wird jetzt TLSv1.2 unterstützt und somit können wieder CIAs von GitHub geladen werden. Leider ist die Geschwindigkeit nicht ganz optimal (~70-80 kbps), aber es ist besser als nichts! Unterstützt eine Seite eine frühere TLS-Version wird diese genommen und die Download-Geschwindigkeit bleibt wie vorher.

Da der interne Updater auf TitleDB zeigt, muss FBI leider manuell aktualisiert werden. Einfach die CIA mit FBI selbst installieren. Der Updater für FBI wurde vom Autor von TitleDB reaktiviert.

* * In testing, speeds were ~70-80kbps, which should be good enough for homebrew downloads.

Tinfoil heißt jetzt Goldleaf

XorTroll hat Tinfoil von Grund auf neu geschrieben und nun die erste Version von Goldleaf veröffentlicht! Und das Tool kann sich sehen lassen!

So gibt es jetzt einen integrierten Dateibrowser und eine hübsche, grafische Oberfläche. Auch wurde das Installieren von NSP über USB am PC vereinfacht und weitere Features, wie ein einfacher Title- und Ticket-Manager zum Anzeigen und Löschen von ebendiesen, sowie ein NXTheme-Installer und NCA-Extractor hinzugefügt.

Beim SX Installer handelt es sich um einen fortgeschrittenen NSP-Installer und Spiele-Launcher für die Nintendo Switch. Es handelt es sich dabei um einen Fork von DZ von digableinc.

dOPUS v0.6 – NSP- und XCI-Installer

Hidki hat den NSP- und XCI-Installer "dOPUS" für die Switch veröffentlicht. Er kommt mit einer hübschen, grafischen Oberfläche in Form eines Dateibrowsers daher und installiert auch extrahierte NSPs und XCIs (NCA-Dateien). Der Installer basiert dabei auf 4NXCI und Tinfoil.

Diese Version unterstützt relative HTTP-Umleitungen und beachtet Filter bei der Ausführung einer Aktion auf mehrere Dateien. Auch wurde ein Absturz beim Auflisten der Titel behoben, wenn bestimmte DS(i)-Titel installiert sind.

Die Installation übers Netzwerk und von TitleDB wurden behoben – was aber auch bedeutet, dass der Updater wieder nicht funktioniert (und man auch nicht die neue Version per bspw. Boop senden kann). Also am besten die CIA per FTP auf den 3DS kopieren und so installieren.

Installierte CIAs können bei TitleDB als "aktualisiert" festgelegt und nach Installationsstatus sortiert werden, außerdem wurde der CDN-Installer entfernt, da Nintendo die Sperre scharf geschaltet hat. Auch wurden die Akkuanzeige und der Updater behoben. Möglicherweise ist ein manuelles Update notwendig, indem die CIA einfach drüberinstalliert wird.

Steveice10 hat den CIA-Installer "FBI" aktualisiert.

Denkt daran, dass der Updater nicht mehr funktioniert und ihr deshalb manuell aktualisieren müsst. Ab dieser Version wird er aber wieder funktionieren, da er nun über TitleDB geht.

Die TitleDB-Liste lässt sich nun filtern und sortieren; zudem wurde eine Update-Funktion für Homebrews von TitleDB hinzugefügt. Das heißt, ihr könnt ganz einfach eure Homebrews aktuell halten! Updates werden blau angezeigt – allerdings müssen alle Titel erst mit "Y" neu installiert werden, damit sie zum Cache hinzugefügt werden. Danach können mit "Y" alle veralteten Homebrews auf einmal aktualisiert werden! Auch lassen sich Homebrews als 3DSX herunterladen. Datei-Metadaten werden jetzt auch erst geladen, wenn die Dateiliste fertig ist.

Eine Retry-Option wurde zu den meisten Aktivitäten hinzugefügt und in der Titel-Info wird nun die genaue Version angezeigt, welche von TitleDB.com kommt. Außerdem wurden die Sortier-Optionen für Titel und Extdaten erweitert – so lassen sich Extdaten jetzt nach TitleID oder Namen und andere Titel zusätzlich nach Größe sortieren. Wenn alle Sortieroptionen deaktiviert werden, werden diese vom 3DS-Betriebssystem sortiert.
