Nintendos Wii erschien Ende 2006 und überzeugte eine breite Nutzerbasis mit einer innovativen Steuerungsmöglichkeit, bei der der ganze Körper in Bewegung gerät.

Für Nintendo war die Konsole ein voller Erfolg und sie verkaufte sich über 100 Millionen Mal.

Die Homebrew-Szene zählt zusammen mit der PSP- und PS-Vita-Szene zu einer der besten. Der Homebrewkanal ist wohl die bekannteste Homebrew-Applikation, zusammen mit Größen wie dem USB Loader GX, WiiFlow, Nintendont oder die GX-Emulatoren. Nicht umsonst ist die Wii der Namensgeber dieser Webseite!

Ende Oktober 2013 wurde die Produktion der Wii in Europa eingestellt. Die Nachfolgerkonsole "Wii U" war hingegen ein Flop.

-hopefully fixed a homebrew loading bug
-reverted the changes of r858 for now because of some problems
-made the wait animation smoother and better looking using the
original 10 frame pngs (thanks to our last rev for the free space)
-added a way to reduce the alpha channel on pngs
-removed 24 pngs from the download country selection, using the
internal wiiflow alpha reducer from now on for that (saves 127kb)
– Fix for source menu again. Added allplugins button back in. seems to be what
was causing trouble for a lot of people
– Hopefully fixed source menu. working for me
-lets use the old coverflow cover loader again, just slightly
changed

Two words: Paired. Single.

That’s right. I got tired of waiting. I created paired-single versions of ALL of
the matrix functions. On average they run about 40-50% faster. This has been in
the works for a long time. There isn’t any noticeable speed up that I could
find, but it’s there, and a preview of things to come.

A large-scale turning back the clock. Since the GCC-Update branch is handling
the updated DesmumeWii, we are reverting the trunk back to before we started
tinkering with it, with a few notes:
– GX has been implemented, just like the update branch
– The headers have also been updated
– Paired-Single matrix instructions!
