Die Konfiguration kann jetzt auch auf einem anderen Gerät gespeichert werden, allerdings ist dieses Feature noch experimentell.

First build of the new device handler changes. This build will allow a configuration device to be set which differs from the device used to browse (e.g. read only dvd replacement for browsing, SD Gecko or memory card for config saving).

Use with caution, this has been tested by me but no one else at this stage, there will probably be bugs!

TWLoader v5.0.1

Robz8 schiebt ein kleines Update für den TWLoader nach.

Eine Nachricht wird nun angezeigt, wenn TWLoader aktuell ist und der Bootstrap-Updater funktioniert wieder. Zudem ist die Spieleanzahl nicht mehr auf jeder Seite "1", wenn eigentlich mehr vorhanden sind.

TWLoader v5.0.0

Robz8 hat seinen TWLoader aktualisiert.

Ein Soft-Reset kann jetzt durchgeführt werden, wenn eine DSTT, R4i Gold, R4i-SDHC oder Supercard DSONE verwendet wird – dazu muss L+R+A+B+X+Y gedrückt werden. Ein neues Update-System wurde integriert, welches auch die Flashcard-Loader aktualisiert und leere Boxen als Platzhalter für übrige ROMs auf einer Seite wurden hinzugefügt. Die aktuelle Seite wird jetzt auch gespeichert.

Der Bootscreen wurde auf die SD verschoben, um Platz im TWLNAND zu sparen und die Flashcard-Liste benutzt nur eine weiße Farbe, um User mit grauer Farbe nicht zu verwirren. Die R4iDSN und R4i Gold RTS funktionieren wieder, aber die Acekard 2(i) noch nicht.

Luma3DS Updater v2.1.2

Die Option, auf die aktuellste Hourly zu aktualisieren, wurde entfernt. Gab ja einige "Spezialisten", die nicht wussten, dass man Nightly-Versionen besser nicht produktiv einsetzen sollte und dann einen Blackscreen bekamen, weil sie boot9strap nicht aktualisiert haben (als die neue Version noch nicht released wurde). Wer das Feature trotzdem noch möchte: einfach die Vorversion installieren.

HINWEIS: Der Updater zeigt an, dass es eine neue Version gibt, selbst wenn man die aktuelle v8.0 schon hat. Das kommt daher, dass das Format des Release-Titels "Luma3DS v8.0" ist, anstatt "v8.0" (wie es vorher war, zu sehen auf der GitHub Releases-Seite). Also nicht wundern.

WICHTIG: Aktualisiert boot9strap und Luma3DS gleichzeitig, da die v7.1 von Luma3DS NICHT per boot9strap v1.2 gestartet werden kann! Gleichzeitig kann auch v8.0 von Luma3DS NICHT per boot9strap v1.0 gestartet werden. Also nur: Luma3DS v8.0 UND boot9strap v1.2 (plus v2.0.0 des Homebrew Launchers).

3DSIdentJoel16 hat 3DSident aktualisiert.

Der lokale Freundescode-Seed wird jetzt im Little-Endian-Format und Speichergrößen nicht mehr in Megabyte, sondern in einem geeigneten Format angezeigt (bspw. "2 GB" statt "2000 MB").

Nur noch die CIA-Version der GUI wird aktiv unterstützt.

* Displays local friend code seed (in little-endian format)
* Storage sizes are no longer displayed in MB by default. It now calculates your current storage and displays it in an appropriate unit (Example 2000 MB will be displayed as 2GB instead).

Nop90 hat einen Neo-Geo-Pocket-/Neo-Geo-Pocket-Color-Emulator für den 3DS veröffentlicht.

Hierbei handelt es sich um eine Preview. Da der Entwickler mit anderen Projekten beschäftigt ist, sollte man nicht zu viele Updates erwarten.

Es kann nur eine ROM auf einmal abgespielt werden – diese muss in SD://roms/neogeopocket/rom.ngc liegen. Frameskip kann mit R erhöht und mit L verringert werden.

Switch Online-Service auf 2018 verschoben, kostet 19,99 €/Jahr

Nintendo hat heute weitere Details zum kostenpflichtigen Online-Service der Nintendo Switch bekanntgegeben. Zudem wurde der Start von Herbst 2017 auf 2018 verschoben.

So kostet der Online-Service für

  • 30 Tage: 3,99 €
  • 90 Tage: 7,99 €
  • 365 Tage: 19,99 €

Auch haben Mitglieder jetzt dauerhaft Zugriff auf eine Sammlung klassischer Spiele mit neuen Online-Funktionen, wie zum Beispiel Super Mario Bros. 3, Balloon Fight und Dr. Mario. Die Spiele können somit jetzt beliebig oft gespielt werden, solange ein Abonnement aktiv ist. Früher sprach Nintendo nur davon, dass die Spiele nur für einen Monat verfügbar sein werden. Zum Start werden nur NES-Spiele verfügbar sein, Nintendo "denkt über SNES-Spiele nach".

Neben klassischen Spielen gibt es auch noch exklusive Angebote auf bestimmte Produkte im eShop und eine App für Smartphones für Online-Lobby und Voice-Chat. Eine Vorabversion der App soll noch im Sommer 2017 erscheinen.

RetroArch v1.6.0

Die Wii-Version erhielt einige Stabilitätsverbesserungen. Die Wii-U-Version unterstützt jetzt HID-Controller und das XMB- und MaterialUI-Menü, allerdings noch nicht vollständig. Experimentell ist auch die Netplay-Unterstützung. Alle Versionen kommen mit einer aktualisierten deutschen Übersetzung, die weniger grauenhaft klingt. Die 3DS-Version muss ohne Änderungen auskommen.

Godode9d0k3 hat GodMode9 für den 3DS aktualisiert.

Diese Version hat wichtige Fixes – bitte umgehend aktualisieren!

Das RAM-Laufwerk auf dem New3DS wurde auf 64 MB reduziert (nur Sighax), da der erweiterte FCRAM noch nicht unter Sighax funktioniert. Custom NCSDs werden jetzt unterstützt, genauso wie kommende boot9strap- und Luma3DS-Versionen. Damit lässt sich bspw. der TWLNAND vergrößern (wie Apache Thunder schon gezeigt hat), allerdings sollten Unwissende damit nicht herumspielen! Die OTP ist jetzt entschlüsselbar, sie liegt unter "M:/otp_dec.mem". Des Weiteren enthält ein Backup nun die ganze OTP, anstatt nur den Hash. Zu guter Letzt lassen sich nun Gateway-EmuNANDs aufsetzen.

Falls ihr Dateien auf einem RAM-Laufwerk auf dem New3DS abgelegt habt, prüft diese auf Fehler, da sie evtl. korrumpiert wurden.
