Luma3DS v8.1

Luma3DSAuroraWright hat ihre Custom Firmware für den 3DS aktualisiert.

Die Rosalina-Einstellungen (Tastenkombination und Homebrew TitleID) werden jetzt gespeichert und der 3DS lässt sich von Rosalina aus (L + Steuerkreuz runter + SELECT) ausschalten und neu starten. Wenn InputRedirection und/oder der GDB-Stub aktiviert sind, wird die IP in den meisten Menüs angezeigt und Systemversionen >= 4.0 werden nun vollständig unterstützt; die Firmware 3.0 nur teilweise. Die Wartezeit zum Erstellen eines Screenshots wurde halbiert und der New3DS startet nun eine Sekunde schneller – yay!

Regionfree-Patches für elektronische Bedienungsanleitungen wurden hinzugefügt und das Redirection des C-Sticks/ZL/ZR wurde in einigen Spielen gefixt. Der Exception-Bildschirm lässt sich in den Einstellungen deaktivieren – allerdings fixt dies die Crashes, die dadurch auftreten natürlich nicht!

Die 3DS-Version stürzt nicht mehr ab, wenn kein DSP-Dump existiert und die RTP werden nun in "/data/rtp" gesucht, ähnlich dem Wii-Port. Zudem wurde ein Problem mit den Buttons auf dem Touchscreen behoben, welches seit der ersten Version existiert und ein Rand zu den Buttons hinzugefügt, damit man weiß, ob der korrekte Button gedrückt wurde.

SNES Classic Mini angekündigt

Nintendo hat heute überraschend auf Twitter den Nachfolger zum NES Classic Mini angekündigt. Hierzulande hört das Produkt auf den etwas sperrigen Namen "Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System". Erscheinen wird die Mini-Konsole am 29. September 2017. Installiert sind 21 Spiele (US-Versionen mit 60 Hz), darunter auch das nie erschienene Star Fox 2, welches spielbar wird, wenn das erste Level in Star Fox (Starwing hierzulande) abgeschlossen wird. Mitgeliefert werden auch zwei Controller und ein HDMI-Kabel.

Ein "haushaltsübliches Steckernetzteil" wird noch benötigt, welches nicht mitgeliefert wird.

MultiUpdater v3.0 -> v3.1

LiquidFenrir hat seinen MultiUpdater für den 3DS aktualisiert. Damit lassen sich boot9strap-Payloads und andere Dateien direkt auf dem 3DS aktualisieren.

UPDATE, 25.06.2017, 22:45 Uhr: Wildcards funktionieren jetzt auch für "inarchive" (also für die Datei im Archiv) und ein kleiner Fehler bei Dateinamen mit unerlaubten Zeichen wurde behoben.

7z-Archive werden jetzt unterstützt. Ferner können nun Wildcards für GitHub-Releases benutzt werden. Lasst mich das kurz erklären: Wer GodMode9 von GitHub aktualisieren möchte, musste bei der vorherigen Version den genauen Namen der ZIP angeben, was das ganze Prinzip von MultiUpdater ad absurdum führte. Jetzt reicht es bei "inrelease" einfach "GodMode9-*-*.zip" anzugeben (oder einfach: GodMode9*.zip).

v3.1:
Nothing major, adds pattern matching to file extraction ("inarchive"), and fixes a little bug that doesnt seem to have been noticed

v3.0:
Fixes github api parsing, and brings in 7z extraction support and wildcards in the config! (only for the inrelease element)

Wii DS ROM Sender v3.0

FIX94 hat seinen Wii DS ROM Sender aktualisiert.

NES-, Gameboy- und Gameboy-Color-ROMs können nun versendet werden – diese werden mit nesDS bzw. GameYob emuliert. Auch wurde LZO-Kompression für HaxxStation hinzugefügt, damit die Übertragung schneller verläuft.

Robz8 hat seinen TWLoader aktualisiert.

Kompatibilitäts-Checks wurden hinzugefügt – dazu muss das inoffizielle Bootstrap über den TWLoader aktualisiert werden. Wenn Bootstrap bei einem weißen Bildschirm stehenbleibt, wird der 3DS-Fehlerbildschirm angezeigt ("Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten").

Changes
* Compatibility checks are now added. To take advantage of the checks, update unofficial bootstrap.
If bootstrap stays on white screen for 1.5 seconds with the ROM not being loaded, the stock 3DS error screen will appear.
If a game is stuck on a white screen for a little longer, with no loading command found, the stock 3DS error screen will appear, as a sign of the game being incompatible.
* Placeholder soft-reset app, Zelda Four Swords Anniversary Edition, has been replaced with the stock 3DS error screen.

Bug fix
* Japanese translation has been temporarily removed, in order to prevent a crash.

Framerate-Probleme bei CD-ROM-Spielen und die Musik bei diesen wurden behoben.  Außerdem kann nun ein optimierter CPU-Kern ausgewählt werden, welcher aber eine niedrigere Kompatibilität besitzt.

FIX94 hat seinen Wii DS ROM Sender aktualisiert.

HaxxStation wird jetzt unterstützt – dabei handelt es sich um einen Exploit für DS Download Play. Dazu wird die US-Version von "DS Download Station – Volume 1" als "haxxstation.nds" im Root der SD-Karte benötigt. Außerdem kann jetzt das Senden verzögert werden, falls Probleme auftreten.

Shutterbug2000 hat NDS-Bootstrap aktualisiert.

UPDATE: Die Version 0.4.3 verbessert die Kompatibilität.

Die Kompatibilität mit ROM-Hacks, die keine Modul-Parameter Sektion beinhalten, wurde verbessert (Super Mario 64 DS ROM-Hacks) und mit L+R+A+B+X+Y kann jetzt ein Soft-Reset durchgeführt werden.

v0.4.3:
Improve romhack and general compatibility(thanks to @Robz8!).

v0.4.2:
This version improves compatibility with romhacks that do not include(?) a module params section. SM64DS romhacks are an example of romhacks that fit this.

Soft reset can now be done with the L+R+A+B+X+Y button combo. Zelda Four Swords (USA) is used as placeholder app for soft reset(thanks @Robz8!).
